Indiana Law Firm Offers Scholarships for High School Students

Two people in graduation caps, representing opportunities for scholarships in Indiana for high school seniors.

To support the next generation of leaders in the communities it serves, Indiana Estate & Elder Law has opened applications for its annual college scholarship. Students graduating in 2026 from high schools in Hamilton, Johnson, Parke, and Wabash Counties, where the law firm has offices, are invited to apply for the $1,000 award.

Interested students must complete and submit the scholarship application by April 17, 2026. In addition to the application, candidates are required to provide a personal recommendation letter and write a 600- to 800-word essay.

The essay topic changes each year, prompting applicants to consider issues related to estate planning or elder law. This year, students are asked to explain how they would decide between two possible life paths: going away to college to pursue a career they are passionate about or staying home to learn and eventually run the family business.

“We want to support the communities we serve and encourage students to think critically about the intersections of life and estate planning,” said Jennifer “Jenny” Rozelle, an attorney and co-owner of Indiana Estate & Elder Law. “We’re always inspired and encouraged by the applications and essays we receive each year. The future of Indiana is in good hands.”
