About Justin Schuhmacher

Justin received his bachelor’s degree in secondary education; specifically, social studies, from Ball State University. After spending 12 years in public education, he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.

He was later admitted to the Indiana Bar and then started with Indiana Estate & Elder Law in the fall of 2018.

As an attorney, Justin finds the most joy in helping families as they attempt to strategize during very difficult times. Whether he is helping create a plan to pay for long term care, guardianship, or straightforward estate plans, he finds reward in giving clients the peace of mind that they so often seek.

Justin was raised on the same family farm in Blackford County, Ind., as his father. He currently resides in Sheridan, Ind., with his wife, Jenny, and their two basset hounds.
