Samantha Banks
Samantha was raised in Louisville, KY where she attended Sacred Heart Academy. She received her Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies from Liberty University and graduated with her Juris Doctorate from Liberty University School of Law. During law school, Samantha participated in the Women’s Law Society, Child Advocacy Society, and received the Liberty Law Juvenile and Family Law Award.
She is admitted to the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, and is a member of the American Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, the Indianapolis Bar Association, and the Hamilton County Bar Association.
Samantha focused her practice family law, adoption, and guardianship before transitioning into estate planning and elder law. After watching her parents go through a yearlong ordeal redrafting a botched estate plan, she knew she wanted to protect clients from the same experience. She firmly believes that estate planning should be relatively painless and easy to understand so clients are equipped with the tools they need for peace of mind. As an associate attorney with Indiana Estate and Elder Law, Samantha works with clients to meet their estate planning goals and assists the funding department to ensure client assets are appropriately allocated and protected.
In her free time, Samantha enjoys spending time with her husband and their three daughters, watching a good Netflix series, planning family game nights, and eating as much Mexican food as she can with her best friend from law school. She is an avid reader, and you can find her nose in a fantasy novel as often as possible. She is also especially fond of her three dogs: Tango, Teddy, and Oliver Wendell Holmes III.
