Rachael Rode

Rachael was born and raised on the southside of Indianapolis, Ind., where she attended Roncalli Catholic High School. She continued her education at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she graduated with a Bachelor of History and a minor in Political Science. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and was later admitted to the Indiana State Bar Association.

Rachael has known she wanted to be an attorney since she was 12 years old and has worked in the field in a variety of capacities, many of which included Estate Planning and Elder Law.

In Rachael’s twenties, she experienced the loss of many family members. When discussing the experience of losing so many in such a short time, Rachael notes her gratitude that each of her loved ones had left behind a Will or Trust, eliminating a level of stress and worry from the family that was trying to grieve. It was these experiences that led Rachael to Indiana Estate & Elder Law. She realized she wanted to help families plan for their futures, care for their loved ones, and navigate the estate administration process after a death. To this day, she knows that working with a dedicated team to ease the burdens families encounter during stressful situations has been her best career decision.

Rachael still resides near where she was raised. She enjoys finding the next best sushi restaurant, playing board games, playing in a slow-pitch softball league, visiting Lake Santee, and catching up on her favorite television shows. Her hobbies include grilling, sewing, and reading when she is not spending time with her family and friends
