Trisa McFadden
Trisa joined the Indiana Estate & Elder Law Team in 2019 as a Client Liaison at the firm's front desk. Since then, she has worn many hats as the firm and team have grown, ultimately stepping into her current role as Chief Operations Officer.
As COO, Trisa oversees all operational aspects of the firm, managing non-legal processes, systems, vendor partnerships, and key performance indicators. She's constantly strategizing new approaches to make systems more efficient, including successfully leading the team through a firm-wide CRM update in 2025 that streamlined how the firm operates.
Trisa also leads the Client Services team, where she excels at harnessing each team member's unique strengths to deliver outstanding client experiences. She brings a glass-half-full mentality to everything she does and always shows up with a smile. She loves interacting with clients and making a positive impact on their experience with the firm.
Trisa was raised in Indianapolis' southside, graduating with honors from Franklin Central High School. She was accepted into the Phi Theta Kappa honors society in 2013 and thereafter graduated with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Paralegal Studies from an American Bar Association certified program at Central New Mexico Community College.
Outside of work, Trisa loves the outdoors, enjoying activities like four-wheeling, hiking, and kayaking. She's a devoted family person, spending much of her free time with loved ones. Whether she is watching her daughter perform with one of Indy's west-side dance companies or working on home projects with her husband, Trisa values every moment with her family, including their two dogs and cat.
Trisa's firsthand experience with estate planning came when her dad was diagnosed with kidney cancer. During his two-year battle, she and her sister were able to use the legal documents he had prepared to manage medical decisions, pay his bills, handle banking, and communicate with insurance companies. Her dad had peace of mind knowing he was covered so he could focus on his health. They initiated a trust to start the process of protecting his assets in the event long-term care was needed. While his body didn't outlast his grit and determination, the trust made administering his estate much easier.
Trisa has since shared, "This experience showed me the real-world importance of the work we do. It's why I am so passionate about helping other families prepare for whatever life may bring."
Her dad's battle with kidney cancer also inspired Trisa's involvement with the American Cancer Society, where she continues to participate annually in Relay for Life with her family in support of her cousin who is a survivor and in loving memory of her dad.
